McCarthy Senior Center Daily Lunches in Wakefield & Quick Market

Located on Converse Street in Wakefield, lunches are $2.00 per meal for those ages 60+, and for those under 60 years of age, the meal is $3.50. McCarthy Senior Center hours: Monday – Thursday, 8:00am – 4:00pm. Friday 8:00am – 1:00pm. The menu is posted in the Wakefield Daily Item.  Also, the McCarthy Senior Center works in conjunction with the food pantry to offer seniors a Quick Stop market of food items and supplies when time and/or money is tight.

Saint Joseph Parish in Wakefield

St. Joseph Table offers two community meals: the 2nd Friday and 4th Wednesday of each month at 5:30 pm. St Joseph Parish is located at 173 Albion Street, Wakefield MA 01880; Phone: 781-245-5770.

Most Blessed Sacrament Parish in Wakefield

Most Blessed Sacrament Parish provides community dinner on the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 5:00 – 6:30 pm. The church is located at 1155 Main Street in Wakefield.  The hall is wheelchair accessible (no stairs).  We are located at bus stops on the 136 and 137 Bus Line and there is plenty of free parking as well.  All Are Welcome! First Baptist Church in Wakefield

The Shepherd’s Table is run by the First Baptist Church but is temporarily holding their dinners at the First Parish Congregational Church at 1 Church St, Wakefield.  Community dinners are held on the 2nd Monday of each month from 6:00-7:00 pm. For more information, call 781-245-1784.

First Parish Congregational Church in Wakefield 

Located at One Church Street in Wakefield (The Stone Church by the Lake) offers:
Community Breakfast: the 3rd Saturday of each month except in the months that we have Community Dinners (November and the month that Easter resides). The breakfast is open to anyone in our local area. We serve a nutritious breakfast of eggs, sausage, home fries, toast, muffins, coffee and juice from 9:00 to 10:00am: ALL ARE WELCOME. The doors open at 8:30 for coffee and fellowship.

Community Dinner: First Parish Community Dinners are scheduled twice a year: the Sunday before Easter and the Sunday before Thanksgiving, both at 2:00 pm. Contact info: 781-245-1539; office@fpccwakefield.org

Clothing Closet:  First Parish has been hosting a free clothing ministry for many years now on the 3rd Saturday of each month from 9 am to 10:30 am (only exception is when we have Community Dinner
twice per year: when we’re open at 1 pm on that Sunday).We are located on the bottom floor of our church. The easiest way of access is through our back door near our parking lot.

Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Wakefield

Community Dinners and Food Pantry in Stoneham
Hosted by First Congregational Church in Stoneham (One Church Street in Stoneham) with participating religious organizations including the First Baptist Church in Stoneham, St. Patricks Parish in Stoneham, Interfaith Group from the Stoneham Savings Bank, and St. James United Methodist Church and Hallmark Health, these Community Dinners are offered each Tuesday at 5:45pm. All are welcome! Location: 1 Church Street, Stoneham, MA. Contact: 781-438-0097.

The First Congregational Church in Stoneham is also home to the Stoneham Board of Health/God’s Helping Hand Food Pantry which is open each Tuesday.  Please contact the church for more information:  781-438-0097 between 8:30—2:30 Monday through Friday.

Bread of Life in Malden

Bread of Life (BOL) is a faith-based ministry serving the communities north of Boston, with a mission to feed the body and to nurture the soul.

Located at 54 Eastern Avenue, Malden, MA 02148,  BOL distributes the equivalent of over 1,050,000 free meals per year. Services include evening meals held four nights a week in Malden, food pantries in Malden and Everett, grocery delivery to senior citizens in public housing in Malden, Everett, Melrose, Medford and Wakefield, and food delivery to homeless families sheltered in local motels.
