St. Joseph Table offers a community meal on the 1st Thursday of each month at 5:00 pm. St Joseph Parish is located at 173 Albion Street, Wakefield MA 01880; We accessible by MBTA 137 Bus and the Wakefield Commuter Rail Station. Free parking. All are welcome. Phone: 781-245-5770
Most Blessed Sacrament Parish in Wakefield
Most Blessed Sacrament Parish provides community dinner on the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 5:00 – 6:00 pm. The church is located at 1155 Main Street in Wakefield. The hall is wheelchair accessible (no stairs). We are located at bus stops on the 137 Bus Line and there is plenty of free parking as well. All Are Welcome! First Baptist Church in Wakefield
The Shepherd’s Table is run by the First Baptist Church but is temporarily holding their dinners at the First Parish Congregational Church at One Church St, Wakefield. Community dinners are held on the 4th Monday of each month from 6:00-7:00 pm. For more information, call 781-245-1784.
First Parish Congregational Church in Wakefield
Community Breakfast is offered the 3rd Saturday of each month except in the months that we have Community Dinners (November and the month that Easter resides). Located at One Church Street. The breakfast is open to anyone in our local area. We serve a nutritious breakfast of eggs, sausage, home fries, toast, muffins, coffee and juice from 9:00 to 10:30am: ALL ARE WELCOME. The doors open at 8:30 am for coffee and fellowship.
Community Dinner: First Parish Community Dinners are scheduled twice a year: the Sunday before Easter and the Sunday before Thanksgiving, both at 2:00 pm. Contact info: 781-245-1539; office@fpccwakefield.org
Clothing Closet: First Parish has been hosting a free clothing ministry for many years now on the 3rd Saturday of each month from 9 am to 10:30 am (only exception is when we have Community Dinner
twice per year: when we’re open at 1 pm on that Sunday).We are located on the bottom floor of our church. The easiest way of access is through our back door near our parking lot.
Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Wakefield
The Emmanuel Episcopal Church in partnership with the Horizon House holds a sit-down community meal on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 5 pm. Located at the Horizon House, 78 Water Street, Wakefield. Contact info: 781-245-4272
Community Dinners and Food Pantry in Stoneham
Hosted by First Congregational Church in Stoneham (One Church Street in Stoneham) with participating religious organizations including the First Baptist Church in Stoneham, St. Patricks Parish in Stoneham, Interfaith Group from the Stoneham Savings Bank, and St. James United Methodist Church and Hallmark Health, these Community Dinners are offered each Tuesday at 5:45pm. Bread of Life (BOL) is a faith-based ministry serving the communities north of Boston, with a mission to feed the body and to nurture the soul.
