Sponsored by the Wakefield Co-operative Bank, the Wakefield Food Pantry will again hold an online auction.

The auction will be held from November 10th-14th with preview beginning November 7th.

The auction will have bids starting as low as $25 and as high as $500 with options in between. Items will include a variety of restaurant gift cards, Celtics tickets, sports memorabilia, antiques, ice cream and a consult with a personal organizer! In addition, participants will find gift baskets, artwork and handmade quilts.

Maureen Miller, Executive Director of the Wakefield Food Pantry, encourages everyone to participate. This past year, Wakefield Food Pantry served approximately 500 households and the need is up again this year.

Due to the pandemic, the pantry has had to cancel in-person fundraising events. “That’s why this online auction is so important to raising money we need to keep the pantry operational and the shelves full,” said Miller. “It’s a win-win; you help the pantry and you get incredible unique items for yourself or those on your holiday shopping list.”
